I'm so sorry. Losing a pet is never easy.
We had to put our cat, Mary Mac, down a few years ago. She was 17 and had been very healthy. However she got sick and deteriorated quickly. Happily she didn't suffer. We have other cats and love them dearly. However, we always called MM "The World's Best Cat" because she was so completely mellow and sweet. She didn't have any of those weird cat personality traits that our other cats have. Every time I see her picture, I miss her.
Zahra and Jennie, I am so sorry!
